Our sweet Andrew was born 3.5 months early and has faced many challenges in his early life. One of the most significant issues is with his eye development. Andrew's eye vessels grew only to the beginning of zone 3 (the final zone) but didn’t complete the growth, leaving a small area without blood vessels. Although his vision could be okay as it is, there’s a potential risk that if the blood vessels grow incorrectly in the future, it could lead to more severe issues, including retinal detachment.
