Give Amelia More Time with Her Loved Ones

My daughter Amelia Faye Faulkner is 10 yrs old. She is the youngest of my three daughters (Samantha 15, and Sophia 13). Amelia was playing, attending school, and doing what any happy 10-year-old does, exploring life with the childlike innocence we all remember. A few days ago, our world changed. Amelia began vomiting, having blurred vision, and was unable to walk without assistance. This was not the flu. Her mother and I took her to the ER, and after imaging and testing, we were informed that Amelia has a brain tumor on her brain stem, the worst place a tumor could be. This is a brain tumor (DIPG) that happens to 1 child a year within the USA. We found out that it is inoperable and will be fatal to our little girl. With this type of tumor, Amelia will have 6-9 months to live.

We are pursuing treatment options to give us a bit more time with her as a family, but we were informed that there is a year at best. With great humility, I'm asking for any donation you can spare to help my family with medical costs, co-pays, and family expenses. The ability to spend these last months present and with Amelia to help her navigate the changes her body will be going through will require time and energy.
