Hi name is Lea, mom to Alivia,
We could use any help we can get for my daughter Alivia's Golden retriever Paisley.
Alivia has been doing everything she can to give more life to her girl.
Paisley has been diagnosed with a brain tumor (that has stayed the same size) but has caused her to have seizures. Her last seizure she took her to Wheatridge Animal Hospital in Colorado. They told her she had a cluster and needed to admit her to the Neuro ICU. Alivia at that point was heartbroken and ask what is her quality of life. They were optimistic that she was not ready to go.
Things did go south for a couple of days during her stay and Pazie needed oxygen to breath. The neurological doctor was a little worried but not ready to give up on her, Alivia at day 3 was financially in a bind as the hospital bill was in the thousands. She reached out to me to say she was going to have to let her go. I was in shambles with the thought of this when she was so close to coming home. I then stepped in and she became a miracle and pulled through. Pazie went home at day 5!
Paisley has upcoming appointments that will include xrays and bloodwork that she has to have to continue the medications she will have to remain on. If we can keep the seizures from happening with the new meds she has a chance at more life.
The Neuro doctor has told her it could be weeks or months but she is stable and is getting back to herself with lots of care from Alivia.
My daughter really at this point in her life could use more time with Pazie so please anything to help with this up coming appts would be very appreciated.
Thank you so much for reading our story.
