My name is Brooke, and I live in the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia. I’m fundraising for my friend Ali Wael, a devoted father in Gaza who is struggling every day to feed his children and support his extended family.

I’ve known Ali and his family for eight months and have helped whenever I can. Ali has told me many times how heartbreaking it is to go from being a proud teacher, providing for his family, to now living in a tent and fighting every day just to find enough food for his children. The conditions they are enduring—hunger, cold nights, and constant fear—are more than any family should ever face.

The funds raised here will reach Ali through a trusted third party in the United States, via a GoGetFunding page run by a woman who has been assisting families in Gaza for a long time. This is the same pathway I’ve been using for eight months, and it has always reached Ali safely.
