Give Albus Dumbledore a Fighting Chance

Albus Dumbledore! He showed up on my doorstep November ‘23 and after searching for his owner for a few weeks he warmed his way right into my heart + home. Fast forward to December ‘24 when I felt a lump near his trachea during a relaxing cuddling session while watching movies and took him to his Vet that Monday where we sent off a Cytology of the growth. We received the results a week later to where it was determined to be to be a thyroid neoplasm, thyroid cancer.

We were able to get an appointment with MedVet oncology where prognosis has potential to be great for him, if we do surgery to remove the growth! His doctor at MedVet believes he has a fighting chance, with me catching the growth as early as I have and him being symptom free still . This sweet, old man stumbled upon my place and earned a spot in my heart, so I want to do the very best for him and get the surgery done so he can continue having a fighting chance of living out the rest of his doggy days, cancer free!
