It is with heavy hearts that we have to set up this GoFundMe. Our sweet little superhero lost his battle with Cancer Sunday morning at 2:53am.

At 11, AJ was diagnosed with a malignant PEComa. After some treatment, it was able to be resected. At the year-and-a-half mark, we found out the cancer was back, not with 1 but 2 new tumors. One was easily resected but the other one could not be.

After spending 28 days, including his 13th birthday, in the hospital, he was able to start treatment again.

This October, after getting sick with COVID and Pneumonia, we found out that the treatment had not been working. His tumor more than tripled in size in just two weeks. They did a biopsy and sent it off to different specialists. They didn't give much hope, saying he had less than 6 months. He got to come home and celebrate his 14th birthday with family and friends. Three days later, we were back in the hospital. The tumor has again doubled in size in just twenty days. They found a medication that may slow the growth long enough to get him to Christmas. No guarantees. We prayed every day for a miracle to happen but his little body was just too tired to go on.

No one is ever prepared to bury one of their children. We are asking for help so that we can give our little Angel the best Memorial he deserves. Every little bit helps.
