I met Agus a few years ago during our stay in Bali, where he was our waiter. His kindness and resilience deeply touched us, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since.

Agus has faced unimaginable hardships. In 2018, at just 22 years old, he lost both of his parents—his mother, I wayan suta and his father, Ni ketut suwitri just a few months apart. To add to his pain, his dog, Momo, was stolen from his doorstep just months later. He’s struggled with deep grief, paying off funeral costs and working long hours as a waiter in Bali for just $200 a month.

Despite these challenges, he remains determined and hopeful.

Recently, Agus received an incredible opportunity—a waiter job in Croatia that offers greater financial stability, accommodation, and meals. However, he doesn’t have the funds for the visa, flights, medical checks, etc. This job is a chance for Agus to build a better future and relieve the pressure he’s carried for so long.
