Hi, my name is Amita, and I'm the founder of Pawsitive Sanctuary - an animal shelter for stray dogs in India. Pawsitive Sanctuary is a shelter for sick, injured and paralyzed animals. We aim to spay or neuter all the dogs in the city, and we have successfully fixed more than 3,500 dogs since then. Pawsitive Sancturay provides a chance for stray and abandoned dogs to live a better life than they deserve.

We do not plan to fly our whole shelter to Canada but some of our dogs have no chance to be left on the streets and keeping them in our shelter means we are taking the space away from needy, sick and injured dogs.

Till now, we had facilitated 18 adoptions in Toronto and the adoptive families helped us flying their babies but now, because of Canadian Food insection Agency Ban, we have to fly our 2 dogs at our expense and we need to raise funds for that.

The ban takes effect in one month and the door to Canada closes to innocent dogs from over 110 countries including India. Please help us changing the lives of Sanju and Sweety so we are able to rescue more sick and injured pups.
