How much would you say it costs a student in Rio’s favelas to take their high school exam?
The answer is 85 reais, around 13 CHF (17$), yet for many, it remains an unbreachable barrier to their dreams. And for some, simply getting quality education is considered a privilege.
At SIMbora, we are convinced that every student deserves the right to dream about and shape their own future, no matter their current awareness and financial situation.
In partnership with Edumais, an NGO offering free quality education to children in Rio favelas, our team based in St.Gallen (Switzerland) aims to empower students by sponsoring and widening their access to educational and professional opportunities. We help create a link between Edumais and Brazilian or international non-profit initiatives to improve the level, range, and scale of the students' education.
And here's where you can come in: as a donator, your support will help us sponsor their national high school exam, scholarships and providing tablets to assist them in their journey. As a firm, we are open to any new non-profit initiative you would be willing to collaborate on - feel free to send us a message via our website or LinkedIn.
