Hi everyone,

My name is Kerrymay, I am a student studying Community and Youth work and for my final year of placement I am in a Youth Centre in North Macedonia, walking home from work 3 weeks ago I found this little stray dog who completely stole my heart. Since then, he’s followed me every day, and we’ve formed a bond I never expected.

The thought of leaving him behind breaks my heart. Out here, he has no one else. No safe place. No family. If I leave without him, he’ll be lonely and back to surviving on the streets. I really don’t want to let that happen. I have given him a little bed under some shelter and I fed him each day.

I want to give him a real chance at a happy life by bringing him home to Ireland with me, but the costs are more than I can manage alone. I’m raising funds to cover:

Vaccinations & vet checks

An EU pet passport

Travel crate & transport costs

Flight fees
