Souske has been a beloved family member of ours since I was a child, and I mean a very young child. He's almost as old as I am, and my 19th birthday is coming up.
We got him from a rescue shelter when he was an older kitten and took him home with us. He developed from scared of everything to the biggest and strongest tom of the street.
He was always my favourite cat, he loves his blanket and tummy fluffs, he loves spending time with everyone when we were all on the sofa together at Christmas or just on a random Sunday.
He's always been there, life will never be the same without him. He is a corner stone of the family, having seen 4 other cats be brought into the house and pass away before him.
He is one of us, a loved and cherished member of the family. He has seen us grow up, go through tough times, and have our best days.
But he is old now, we thought he would pass away 2 years ago. Over those 2 years he's just gotten older and older. His fluffy tabby orange has turned into a wiery grey and his right eye has gone blind. He is always hungry, incredibly skinny, his teeth have started to fall out and cats around the street have started to act agressive to him. His whiskers are droopy, his purr was gone for months. He is not healthy anymore.
He is atleast 17 years old now, and he is too stubborn to pass on his own.
I don't want him to suffer.
A family discussion was had and we know we need to help him, before he wakes up and his legs don't work. He his bowels start to fail, or maybe he goes out to lie in the sun and something kills him.
It is so hard, I am in tears writing this, but we need to put him down.
We can't afford the help we need, so please would you be willing just to donate a couple pounds so we can help our souske not be in pain anymore.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope you have a good day.
