Hello!
On Wednesday, Feb 26th, seven cats were found abandoned in a woodpile at Amalfi Park, Liverpool. A young mother, her 4 tiny kittens, and 3 older kittens were dumped in 36°C heat with no food or water.
The RSPCA stepped in to rescue the mother and her babies, but unfortunately, the 3 older kittens were left behind. All other rescues were at capacity or had a long wait due to the ongoing kitten season here in NSW.
Thankfully, my amazing friend Danielle and her partner have taken them in. These sweet, playful kittens are now safe, and we’re on a mission to find them forever homes. They’re affectionate, love playing with toys, and can’t get enough of sitting on laps while purring!
The rescue costs have already exceeded several hundred dollars, and it will cost approx. $300 per kitten to have them dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
If you can help us cover these expenses, we’d be incredibly grateful. Mary, Sybil, and Carson (The Downton Abbey litter!) deserve so much more than being abandoned in a park—they deserve love and a chance at a new life. Thank you for your support!
