My friend Raja is a Palestinian mother of two from Gaza. Although she has survived the devastating genocide, she has lost her home and her livelihood. After two incredibly difficult years as a refugee in Egypt, she has been granted asylum and given a visa to start a new life in France with her two children. But even though she has finally been granted this opportunity, she is unable to relocate her family to France without help.

The funds raised will help her cover the essential costs of starting over in France —transportation for her and her two children, housing for the first few months, and basic living expenses such as food and medicine for her children. After losing so much, we want to help her regain something of immeasurable value: the chance to start again and hope for the future.
