Give a New Beginning to Ayah and her children

Ayah recently arrived in Canada with 3 children- Ahmed is 12; Asmaa is 10; Sabreen is 8. She is also 7 months pregnant. Their home in Gaza was bombed and destroyed and they were left with nothing. They literally fled for their lives. They came to Canada with little more than a few items of clothing. Unfortunately their father is still in Gaza. He was unable to leave with them because his father was injured in a bombing and he could not leave him. Since Ayah and the kids left, his father unfortunately died. We are now waiting for her husband to arrive God willing. He remains in Gaza homeless with very little food in Khan Yunis which is currently under heavy bombardment. Ayah has lost 10 family members so far in this conflict. Ayah has a Masters degree and hopes to work as a Project worker for Refugees, Women, children. She has had experience working for NGO’s in Gaza. Her husband, like many of the population of Gaza, was unemployed but has experience as a driver or auto mechanic. We are hoping to raise enough money to support her and her family for the next year or so as they establish themselves in Canada.
