Tragedy struck one of the most kindest sweetest man I know.
Glen Quinton suffered a severe heart attack on Aug 8th. Since then he has been battling for his life with complications after complications, he was sent to Saskatoon in which they performed surgery and installed a ICD. He was sent home only to return to the hospital as blood was getting into his lungs, once again sent to Saskatoon where he was kept and being monitored, he flat lined several times, his heart is shooting out electricity as its trying to repair itself but causes spikes and he suffers profusely during this time. This past week he was airlifted to Edmonton Alta. Where he was put on a on an ECMO machine which is basically a heart/lung bypass - so it is breathing and pumping his heart for him. When he gets stronger they will look at LVAD or transplant . During the flight he flat lined again for approx 30 mins in which they performed CPR, as well as in the surgery of the ECMO . With that he has also suffered broken ribs. They are keeping him now lightly sedated while they watch closely to ensure his organs are not jeopardized. His wife Cindy has been by his side constantly, she has spoke to him asking questions Glen is nodding so he is responsive, however it will be a bit yet before its known if any damage has been done with his brain etc. It will.be a long battle ahead for them both! Stress and anxiety for them both!
I am asking if anyone can help in any means to help relieve some stress on the financial burden that they endured during this trying time by way of donations would truly be appreciated!!
Say a prayer for Glen so that he can beat this and recover fully would mean the world to this wonderful, generous couple!!
