Give A Lift for Ma

We are a couple of Ma’s students who believe you may want to help give Ma a lift. She has lifted us in so many ways!
First it is important you understand that this is a private appeal to our community (sangha). Kindly do not share with anyone outside our sangha.
So please do not post on your Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Thank you for honoring our request, despite all the links on this page. That's built in GoFundMe's template and we don't know how to delete it!
Why we’re reaching out to you:
As you know our beloved Sharada Ma is returning to India in just a few weeks. However, Ma has been dealing with a painful, swollen knee caused by a torn meniscus.
Ma is putting off surgery so she can come to India partly, so as to not disappoint those of us who have already invested in making travel arrangements.
Ma is concerned about climbing the rather steep stairs to Chidakash fourteen times a week for Satsangs and privates. This is just the top half of the stairway:
Thus, we are turning to you, our sangha to help us fundraise to build a small outside lift/elevator, something like the photo at the top.
This will also be a blessing for students who have difficulty climbing the stairs.
Luckily there is an area on the corner of the building that is ideal for the new lift (which will hold 1-2 people).
The Costs in USD $:
We are looking to raise $12,500 USD for the cost, installation and future maintenance of the lift. You might want to include the approximate 3% fee in your donation so we can truly raise what is needed.
Any extra money raised will be used for the upkeep and maintenance of Chidakash.
Disbursal of funds:
Although your receipt will state money received by Maria Mazzi, all monies raised will be accessible only to Ma.
How you can Help:
Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated, no amount is too small.
GoFundMe says donations to our campaign can be made from all over the world using a major credit or debit card.
When donating, you will just need to select the amount you’d like to donate in USD. Then you’ll be charged the equivalent to that amount in your own currency.
GoFundMe doesn’t charge any conversion fees, but you may want to check with your bank to ensure you won't be charged any fees on your end.
We hope to raise the money quickly so the elevator can be installed by our first Satsang, 2 January 2019.
