Hi! My name is Noah, and I’m 13 years old!

This June, I have the amazing chance to go on my 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C.! I would be the very first person in my family to travel there, and I can’t stop thinking about how awesome it would be. I even get to stay in a hotel with my friends!

I’ve always loved learning about history, but this trip is different because I’ll get to actually see the places where our country’s history really happened — not just read about them in a book. I’ll get to walk the streets, see the monuments, visit museums, and stand in the exact spots where important moments took place. I know this trip will help me understand our country’s history in a way I’ll never forget.

The trip includes three full days in Washington, D.C., with airfare, food, transportation, all the tickets and admission fees, and a hotel close to the city.

Everything is covered in the total cost, which is $1,500. To reserve my spot, I need to pay a $250 deposit by Wednesday, October 8th, and then there will be payments due in December, January, March, and April.

This is a really big opportunity for me, but it’s also a lot of money. My family and I are working hard, and there will be fundraisers at school, but we need help covering the full cost so that I can go.
