Give A Gift Of Clean Water & Washroom

This great picture above represents the women of a street community called Central Av which is outside of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

A street community is exactly what it sounds like - the residents live on the streets and sidewalk. They may have bed where they can store all their possessions but this is not a guarantee.

When we visited the residents in February 2023, the women and girls asked for a community washroom with a door and lock. The one they have now is an open and rundown washroom with no door.

We believe it is very important for the women and girls to have a community washroom with a door and a lock for safety and privacy.
