Hi, I'm Morgan. My health journey has been a long one. I've had over 60 surgeries since 2020. I've honestly lost count. I have gastroparesis and gastromobility disorder. Meaning anything I eat by mouth doesn't benefit me. I don't get nutrition that way. Or hydration. I have a permanent feeding tube. A GJ tube. I also have type 1 diabetes. Which is a monster in itself and I'm a brittle diabetic. I have neuropathy in my hands and legs. I have barettes esophagus. The lining of my esophagus is slowly being replaced by cancer cells. I also have 2 heart diseases. POTS and dysautonomia. I'm only 24 years old. I use a walker and wheelchair when needed. When my stomach exploded in 2022, I wanted to be put on Hospice care. I decided to. I went in for the port surgery, and my life changed. I found out I was pregnant. That day I decided to fight like hell. I was on TPN the entire pregnancy. It was a rough pregnancy. I ended up having a c section. I had pre eclampsia and my heart couldn't handle natural birth. TPN took a toll on me. But she is and still is a healthy little girl. But I continue to get worse and need more surgeries. That's why I'm asking for help. I'd like a home. Not only to live the rest of my life comfortably with my family and make memories she'll forever have, but to leave her this home when the inevitable comes. Thank you for reading my story. God bless.
