With the cost of living rising every year — food, utilities, and everyday essentials — many families are simply trying to make it through the month. Extra things, like buying a book at a school book fair, often become luxuries. I’m a mother of two grown children, and I still remember how excited my son was to go and buy his first book at a book fair. Books are more than paper and ink. For children, books are a safe place — a space to escape, to dream, to learn, and to imagine a world bigger than their current circumstances. A book can spark confidence, curiosity, and hope.
Through this pop-up book library, we want to make sure no child has to walk away empty-handed. We want every child to experience the joy of choosing their own book. If you’re able, please consider donating. Every dollar goes toward putting books directly into the hands of children who need them most. Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping us give joy and opportunity — one book at a time.
