Help a Young Cancer Survivor Become a Cancer Doctor

Giulia Zampini is a young girl from the beautiful land of Tuscany in Italy. She has a special wish. Help her make this wish come true.

A few years ago when she was just eight years old, Giulia was diagnosed with orbital cancer. This potentially life threatening disease required extensive surgery, the removal of one eye and the reshaping of one side of her face. With great determination and a strong will, Giulia fought and won her battle against cancer. But her fight didn’t end there, she turned this devastating experience into a mission to help others.

She understood that her calling was to study medicine and to devote her energy to help other cancer patients overcome and win their battles against this disease. Her dream is to study in the United States and to follow the steps of the many men and women that devote their lives to fight cancer. She needs your help to generate the funds necessary to pay for her advanced education. In a few years, she will finish High School in Italy and would like to attend College and later Graduate School in the US.

Alcuni anni orsono quando ancora aveva solo otto anni, Giulia fu diagnosticata con un cancro orbitale. La lotta contro questa grave malattia ha richiesto un difficile intervento chirurgico che ha comportato l’asportazione di un occhio e la deturpazione de una parte del suo volto. Con grande determinazione e forza di volontá, Giulia ha lottato e vinto la sua battaglia contro il cancro. Ma non si é farmata lí e ha trasformato questa esperienza devastante in una missione per aiutare altre persone. Giulia ha capito che la sua vocazione era quella di studiare medicina e di dedicare se stessa ad aiutare altri malati di cancro a vincere la loro lotta contro questo terribile male. Il suo sogno é di studiare negli Stati Uniti e seguire le orme di quegli uomini e donne che dedicano le loro vite alla lotta contro il cancro. Giulia ha bisogno del tuo aiuto per reperire i fondi necessari per finanziare i suoi studi universitari. Tra pochi anni, Giulia finirá il liceo in Italia e vorrebble frequentare l’universitá e poi frequentare un programma di dottorato negli Stati Uniti.
