Our beautiful Giselle is turning 10 — and she’s marking this milestone in an extraordinary way.

She has never cut her hair before, and this year she’ll be donating it to help children who have lost theirs due to illness. But Giselle has another wish — to take her first steps with the help of a Trexo robotic walker.

Because of a rare genetic mutation that causes high muscle tone in her legs and hips, Giselle uses a wheelchair all of the time. Despite this, she radiates joy and determination every single day. Her dream is simple yet powerful: to walk beside her friends and explore the world in her own way.

The Trexo is an innovative robotic device that helps children safely experience walking. It can change lives — but it costs about $30,000, and it’s not covered by insurance.
