We'd like to reach out to all Jikiden Reiki practitioners and teachers, and anyone else who would like to help shihan Gisela Stewart and her family during this challenging time.

A little more than a week ago Gisela, Neil, their daughter Emilia and Hazel the cat lost everything when their house burned down. Thankfully they are safe, and their two sons are studying and living elsewhere. Despite the blessing that they have survived, the family now face uncertain times as they have nothing left and it will take quite some time to rebuild the house (which was insured thank goodness). Among all the burned and water damaged debris inside the house, only a couple of things survived. Miraculously one of them was Gisela's Jikiden Reiki scroll!

Many of you know Gisela, and will be aware of how tirelessly she works for her community and helps everyone she can with a generosity of spirit. She is a great believer that we must help one another thrive and that we are stronger together and demonstrates that in her life, her community, and when teaching and treating people with Reiki.

It feels as though this moment is an opportunity for all of us to come together and exemplify these wonderful values. By giving just a little each to Gisela and her family, we can help them to rebuild their lives and to thrive again.

And so, we lovingly request that you give anything from just a few pounds, or whatever you are able, to help this family survive such a challenging time.
