Help Send Barrie Girls Rugby to Portugal!

In February 2026, a passionate group of young female rugby players from Simcoe County and Toronto will join forces with the Barrie Rugby Club to represent their communities on an international stage in Portugal. This tour is more than just a competition—it's a chance to grow, connect, and inspire.

These athletes have worked incredibly hard all sevens season, with both the U16 and U18 teams earning third place in Ontario. Now, they’re preparing to take their skills abroad, and we’re rallying support to help make it happen.

What We’re Raising Funds For:

New team kits to proudly represent Canada

Training sessions to prepare for international play

Flights and accommodations to get them there and back safely

We want to help cover as much of the cost as possible so these girls can focus on what truly matters: making memories, strengthening friendships, and inspiring the next generation of women athletes through teamwork, perseverance, and the love of rugby.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete internationally, grow as leaders, and represent our region with pride. With your support, we can help push them even further in their journey.
