Supporting Two Young Ice Hockey Stars on Their International Journey

My name is Alisa, and I am proud to be one of the few female managers in the male-dominated world of ice hockey.

I am passionate about encouraging more girls to get involved in the sport and supporting them in achieving their goals, both on and off the ice.

One of our own players twin daughters, Bonnie and Bunnie, turned 10 this January. They first stepped onto the ice at just four years old, beginning their journey as figure skaters. It didn't take long for them to realise their true passion wasn't figure skating, it was ice hockey.

Since then, hockey has become a huge part of their lives. They train on the ice twice a week, attend weekly off-ice personal training sessions, and dedicate their weekends to games and competitions. Their commitment, determination, and love for the sport continue to grow every year.

In May this year, Bonnie and Bunnie achieved an incredible milestone when they were selected to represent the Elite British Selects at the prestigious international tournament in Riga, Latvia. Competing against talented players from across Europe was an unforgettable experience, and they performed exceptionally well.

As a result of their success in Riga, they have now been invited to represent the Elite British Selects once again at the Lions Tournament in Prague this July—another fantastic opportunity to develop their skills, gain international experience, and proudly represent British ice hockey on the international stage.

While this is an amazing achievement, international tournaments come with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, tournament fees, equipment, and training expenses.

We are therefore seeking sponsorship and support from local businesses, organisations, and individuals who would like to be part of Bonnie and Bunnie's journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help these young athletes continue pursuing their dreams and competing at the highest level possible for their age group.

In return, sponsors will receive visibility through our sponsorship opportunities and the chance to support the development of young female athletes in a sport where girls are still underrepresented.
