Hi, My name is Carla Morton. I had the opportunity to meet the magnetic & talented Francine, while I was in Uganda in the summer of 2022.

Francine is a talented seamstress and dress designer and she has created a non-profit foundation to support young mothers and girls learn key skills to help them earn a living as 80% of the unpaid work in Uganda is done by women and 36% of women in Uganda have at least one child before she is 18 years old. Francine wants to change these statistics and give them a better chance at survival. In addition, she helps women get out of situations where they are experiencing domestic abuse (33% of women in Uganda experience domestic violence)

Francine needs funds to expand her ability to train more women & girls with critical skills and make her non-profit more functional. She needs sewing machines, a computer, a decent phone, and uniforms for the girls in her school. $150 buys one sewing machine; uniforms are $8 each and a computer is a few hundred dollars. Anything you offer will go directly to Francine. I'm doing this from my own belief in Francine's success and don't take any proceeds. Thank you in advance!
