On Friday August 14th Erinn Randall was struck by a car while riding her bike to her and her sister Hayden's bakery, Girls Gone Vegan (GGV). Sadly, she died from her injuries on Tuesday, August 18th.
Many local coffee shops, restaurants and groceries offered their delicious vegan, gluten free baked goods. Regrettably, the loss of Erinn is too much for Hayden to continue the bakery by herself.
Covid-19 had already put financial strain on the business. Now with medical, funeral, and remaining business expenses, Hayden and her family could use your help. While it won't eliminate the heartbreak, it would greatly assist in easing their financial stress.
The Orange Couch, a long time GGV customer and friend, started this Go Fund Me page. We urge our customers and all other shops that offered GGV fare, to contribute what they can in these challenging times. Your generosity will be put to good use to help pay bills caused by a reckless, impaired driver striking a defenseless bicyclist. We know that story all to well in New Orleans, and all know someone who has been touched by a cycling tragedy.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
