All About Me – Harriet’s Girlguiding Adventure!

Hi! My name is Harriet, and I’m a proud member of the Girl Guides. I absolutely love being part of this amazing community where I’ve made great friends, learned new skills, and discovered how I can make a difference in the world.

I’m really excited to share that I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a Girlguiding trip to Croatia in 2026! This once-in-a-lifetime experience will include:

A community outreach programme – where I’ll be volunteering and helping local people, making a real impact and learning more about different cultures.

Two days of water sports – including activities like kayaking and paddleboarding (I can’t wait!).

A day trip to Venice – yes, the Venice in Italy! Exploring its unique canals, history, and culture will be a dream come true.

The total cost of the trip is £1450, and I’m working hard to raise the funds myself through fundraising events, activities, and community support. Not only will this help cover the cost of the trip, but it’s also helping me build confidence, responsibility, and determination along the way.
