My name is Maisie , I am 14 years old and I am a Guide. I have been selected for an amazing opportunity through the Girguiding LaSER region (London and South East England), to go on an international trip next summer.

We are still in the planning phase for the smaller details of the trip, but we know that my group will be heading to Sweden and Scandinavia in Summer 2026.

We are planning to spend the first week camping at the Swedish Girlguiding Jamboree, where we will meet thousands of Guides from all around the world. We will take part in lots of fun activities whilst at the jamboree, as well as learning and experiencing other cultures.

The second week of my trip we will be travelling to different areas of Sweden and Scandinavia to visit some of the wonderful places and attractions that these countries have to offer. We are currently looking at visiting castles, national art galleries, botanical gardens and a theme park. We will be travelling by public transport through the countries before heading home.

As part of my trip I am tasked with fundraising to raise the money for my trip.
