My name is Sylvia and next year I am going on a Girlguiding International to Sweden and Norway. 11 other girls and I will first be going to a jamboree in Kristianstad, Sweden for 7 days, then exploring some of Norway, including visiting Oslo. Overall, I have to raise £2,200 and I would very much appreciate any help you can give me!

This trip will help give me skills such as Organisation (we have to plan the whole trip ourselves), Teamwork (Putting up tents etc), Outdoor Skills (Making a campfire etc), Friendship (I will make good friends with some people at the Jamboree and in our group) and Resilience(it will be the first time I have been on an aeroplane and I have never been away from home for this long before). It will help me learn more about countries I have never visited before and about Guiding around the world (at the jamboree, we will be paired with a Swedish Guiding group!). I would also take these skills back to my unit to help encourage other girls to also go on international trips!

Thank you so much! :)

Also, this is our group mascot Quackers the duck:

Yes, he will be coming to Sweden with us! Yay!
