Girasole’s Chef Jay Needs Your Support!

Hello all! I’m Lauren Verzilli, a long time Girasole server. Our hardworking, caring, funny sweet, talented and intelligent evening head chef, Jay, is in need of our support.

The Sunday following Thanksgiving Jay suddenly fell ill and was taken to a nearby hospital in McKeesport. He was quickly life-flighted to Presby where he received more intensive care.

Jay is not only facing serious health problems and ongoing testing but financial problems as well. We hope to lighten his load as his medical expenses will be increasing daily. Please consider donating to our friend in need.
