Hello lovely friends and family! 


As you may or may not know, Trevor and I have been on a 4 year journey to have a baby. It has been a struggle to wrestle through the disappointment of infertility. Many of you have walked along side us during different seasons of this journey. Rejoiced with us when we had hope, and cried with us when we were again disappointed. We are extremely grateful to all of you for your unwavering support during this difficult season. 


All of us can relate to the curveball this COVID season has thrown us. Amanda and I have had to make some difficult decisions in this time. In June, Amanda made a tough decision to quit her job as a Hospice nurse. She has been wrestling with this departure for a year and thought it was time to take pause to rediscover her priorities. We don’t know exactly what her next career move will be but are instead leaning into the mystery of God’s provision and focusing on building our family. After much thought, we have decided we will be starting our first round of IVF in early August! We feel both excited and nervous about this move, but are choosing to trust God, even when life feels so uncertain. 


Many have asked us how they can be supportive during this season. We have set up a gofundme as a tangible way to for you to feel involved. We want to be clear here; Our goal is not fundraising, our goal is to feel the weight and beauty of our supportive and loving community. We know this a very stressful time for many and money is very tight for all of us right now. We aren’t reaching out to you to fund our IVF, more to include the people we love on our journey. gofundme makes you set a goal, please do not feel obligated to get us to that goal, we merely seek to include everyone. We believe in the power of God through our relationships. This isn't easy but truly good things rarely are. We love you all so much, thank you for your continued support.
