Giovanni’s Journey to Recovery

Dear Friends and Family,

I am organizing this Gofundme for Giovanni’s family.

With heavy hearts I am asking for support for our beloved Giovanni and family. In minutes, this family's life shattered when Giovanni was carjacked and shot 13 times just outside of where they live in Suwanee, GA. He was left alone on the ground to bleed out before EMTs arrived on the scene. It is truly a miracle that he did not succumb to his injuries after being shot multiple times. He was rushed into emergency surgery at one of the local hospitals in Atlanta with 13 gunshot wounds causing bleeding and collapsed lungs, major damage to his liver, broken ribs, a shattered right arm, 9 bullets went into his left leg hitting a major artery where he almost lost his leg and one bullet into his right knee.

He has been in critical condition. Giovanni has been fighting hard to stay alive and heal but this is only the beginning of a very uphill battle for Giovanni and his family. We will not know the extent of the damage that has occurred like if he will be able to walk the same again until later down the line, but the path to recovery will be extremely hard on the family, not only mentally but financially. His mother, sister, grandmother, uncles and family are staying by his side night and day hoping for a speedy and full recovery and return to the same loving Son they know and love. Your support would help with lost wages and piling up medical bills due to intensive care treatment.
