In honour of our beloved Giovanna Granata, we have started a campaign to raise funds to support the financial needs of funeral expenses, and support for her family.
Giovanna passed away unexpected in a car accident on Wednesday, September 12 2018. She was a passionate person who loved animals and everyone around her. She graduated from Algonquin College and completed a Social Service Workers program and began working special needs children who she loved and cared for. Giovanna was always positive and cheerful person who enjoyed many hobbies like riding horses, singing, playing instruments. She will be missed by many and remembered by all everyone she has impacted. We are greatly overwhelmed by the loss of our dear friend. Your generosity warms our hearts. Giovanna spirit will live on and will forever be in our hearts. She will be remembered by her parents, John and Carol, her sister Jessica (Julien), her long-time boyfriend Alex, her Nonna Barbara, her many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and all of her dearest friends.
Her fierce nature, and contagious smile will be embedded in our memories for a lifetime. Your donations and prayers are greatly appreciated during this difficult time as a community; we hope that we can help elevate any financial burden for the family.
