Dear Loved Ones,
Ginny Thompson is a pediatric speech-language pathologist. Over the course of her 36-year career, she has enriched the lives of hundreds of children and families. Her speciality is helping children with social thinking. She is a proud champion of creating an environment for children to be open and honest with themselves and one another, as well as fostering creative ways for kids to express themselves so that their young voices can be heard. She has quite literally changed lives over the course of her work.
On March 1, 2017, Ginny was admitted to the ICU. What started as the flu quickly turned into strep, and ultimately led to sepsis. At the time I am writing this, Ginny has been in critical condition in ICU for 20 days. Infection has invaded her entire body. Her heart and lungs are severely impaired, and the road to recovery is long and tedious. She remains on a ventilator and feeding tube, and she is in severe pain from the damage that has occurred internally.
Ginny's husband has taken a medical leave of absence, and their daughter is putting college on hold to move back home. The lives of this family have been turned upside down, and this page has been created to seek the support of anybody who wishes to help with the skyrocketing medical bills that this family is now facing.
In addition to financial support, Ginny and her family are in need of our love, prayers, meditations, and positive energy. If you cannot donate monetarily, please join me in sending healing wishes to the Thompson family. Believe me when I say, Ginny will know that we are all here, and she will have peace when we surround her.
With great appreciation,
Sajina
