Ginna Willmorth Needs Your Love And Support

Donation protected
Hello my name is Matt Fontaine, and I have created this go fund me page in hopes to raise funds for my sister Ginna Willmorth (Fontaine) for educational reimbursement expenses, as well as current and future medical needs.

At age 16, Ginna graduated from high school with a certificate of proficiency. She lost sight of achieving any meaningful life goals. After wasting ten years of her life, she had some catching up to do. With lots of hard work and continuous support, Ginna positively refocused her life and has accomplished many goals.

Ginna’s life transformation began in 2006 at Big Bend Community College (BBCC) where she learned that anything was possible with hard work and dedication. Her journey began as a nontraditional student, and pregnant with her son. As a single parent seeking a better future, her goal was to obtain a vocational degree. One of her instructors encouraged her to expand her goals and attend a four-year university. In June of 2010, she accomplished her first goal by obtaining two AA degrees (vocational and business), graduating from BBCC with honors. Ginna set a new goal to obtain a four-year Accounting degree and continue her education at Central Washington University (CWU).

Ginna had many huge struggles while attending both colleges. Not only was she a single parent, but she also cared for her grandfather full-time. At one point she worked four different part-time jobs at the same time while attending school.
She began classes at CWU in the summer of 2010. She gained new employment as a student intern, while attending school. During her senior year, we lost our dad and then our grandfather. Ginna didn’t let these nightmares prevent her from accomplishing her dreams. She worked so hard to provide for her son, and to be a role model for her family and others in the community. In June of 2012, Ginna graduated with honors from CWU and obtained two degrees (Accounting and Supply Chain Management).

Since graduation from CWU, she obtained a full-time position with a local company in Ephrata, WA. Ginna has also volunteered over these last 15 years in many capacities for her local community, previously serving on the CWU Alumni Board, various CWU committees, BBCC Accounting Committee, cancer teams, community baseball treasurer, soccer coaching, and mentoring for many individuals.

Ginna has worked full-time for the same company for the last 13 years until she sustained job injuries. During the fall of 2022, her same employer sponsored and encouraged her to earn a master’s degree in business. She was pursuing her master’s degree from WGU, and she was on track to graduate the program within 7 months from start to finish. Unfortunately, with only 3 classes remaining she had to stop pursuing her educational goal and take a medical leave of absence from school.

After being off work for most of 2023, Ginna was abruptly medically terminated in February 2024 with no longer having her monthly income or medical coverage for her family. Her injuries are prominent, and her health remains in decline. She is now “between jobs” and is awaiting future medical appointments and surgeries to regain her good health and get back to work. Over the many months, it is apparently a long, lengthy process to seek medical care when injured on the job. In the meantime, her former employer is now requiring her to pay back her master’s program tuition ($5000) because company policy requires employees to reimburse the company if their employment ends.

Your kindness would be very much appreciated to help my sister. If you are interested in helping Ginna in paying back her tuition and future expenses for medical treatments and surgeries, your generous donations would be welcome.
