My sister, Ginger Bell was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatice Cancer, at the age of 52, on December 15, 2014!
Ginger became acutely sick around April of 2014.  After several doctors appointments, diagnostic test and procedures, the decision was made to send her to UAB to have the Whipple Surgery.  This was in hopes of correcting a collapsed tube that was requiring stents to keep it open to drain bile into her intestines and remove any cancer that she might have that had not been showing up in biopsies or in MRI's or CT Scans.  Since there were no findings of cancer before surgery, we were all in high hopes of the stent problem being corrected and all would be just fine.
After a short time in surgery, the surgeon came out and told us that he had found cancer in the pancreas and that it had matastasized to the liver!  He was not able to perform the Whipple.  His only option was to close her up, give her time to heal and then schedule chemo treatments to help slow down the cancer and help extend the length of her life!
Funding is needed to help Ginger with her extensive, past, current and future medical expenses that are not covered by her insurance.   Just her monthly co-pays for her precription medications are astronomical.
Any amount of a financial gift would be greatly appreciated.  What ever amount God lays on your heart.  Nothing is too small.  It all adds up and will help immensely!
Ginger is a wife, mother, grandmother (GiGi), sister and daughter that is loved by all and we want to help her fight this battle by taking away some of the financial debt that many have to deal with when faced with a cancer diagnosis.
