Ginger is our sweet, playful, spunky 2 year old mixed breed dog who recently came to live with us in November. Shortly after that, she began favoring her left leg - sometimes not putting any weight on it.

We found out that she has torn her doggie equivalent of the ACL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament in dogs) and will require a procedure known as Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) to offer the best, and longest lasting repair - a $5-$6K procedure. 

She is such a young dog and so vibrant and playful we can't imagine forgoing the procedure and letting her condition deteriorate.

Any little bit helps as her dad and I are also saving to get this done for her as quickly as possible.
