Ginger's Open Wound Surgery and Hospital Stay

Hi, and thank you for making it this far.

UPDATE 5/25: Ginger was able to get the surgery done, and it was a success!! She's home resting and living stress free during recovery. Thank you to everyone who donated, you are amazing and helped my friend come home. I will keep the GoFundMe up at a lower goal to help with leftover costs for bit longer. With the money we've raised so far, it just about covered her surgery and last week of hospital stay!! Any money received after will go towards the her forst couple of weeks in the hospital.

Than you again, you truly helped me keep my best friend.

My dog, Ginger, was recently in a traumatic accident. We don't know if it was from a dramatic escape or from another animal, but all we know is that she is in a really bad place right now. She has an open wound with a nasty infection that requires daily bandage changes and cutting off dead tissue. This is all before even considering surgey. The doctor is convinced that she can make it, but it's going to take a lot of treatment, and I am ashamed to say that I can't do it alone.

That is why I am here, making my case to you. I have already spent $2,000 on her hospital stay, with a projected update on 5/26 - 5/27. I do not know if she'll need more time to heal or if she's ready for surgery.

Ginger is my best friend whom I've known for 12 years, she's such a kind dog who was always afraid of others, but in her later age, she's grown to finally know peace, I want her to spend the rest of her time knowing that peace.

I cannot describe how much it would mean if you could help me save her life. I appreciate your time and anything you have to offer, even if it's just a share or like.
