My name is Ginger. My daughter was recently in a car accident. Luckily, she walked away with minor injuries. I'll be honest and tell you that at the time of the accident, she didn't have insurance. We had to choose between car insurance and food in the house. We live in the household, just her, her brother, and I, with a limited income and are doing our best to make ends meet. This was her first accident, and she has been driving since she was 15. The other vehicle in the accident is now coming after her for over $4,000 in damages, when all that the truck she hit received was a bent-down trailer hitch. The company representing them told us that if we don't come up with a good amount for settlement, they will take away her driver's license in the next couple of months. We have reached out to different places to try and secure some of the funds with no success. My daughter is a wonderful person who is trying her hardest, and this has put a huge strain on all of us. If anyone knows me or her, you know we wouldn't ask for this help if we didn't absolutely need it. She doesn't want to lose her license because she has a good job that she needs to get back and forth to, and with our work schedules being so close to the same, it's near impossible for me to get her back and forth and work my job as well with just my car. Anything will help, but we are looking to raise at least $2,000 to present to the company representing the other party.
