Hi!

My name is Ginger Champagne LeGrow and I am a 19 year old dancer from Ontario, Canada. I have been dancing at Grand River Dance Academy in Fergus, Ontario since I was 3 years old. This is where I fell head over heels in love with DANCE .  Beginning in ballet, I quickly worked my way into every type of dance available to me; Tap, Jazz, Contempory, Latin, Ballroom, Modern, House, and of course HIP HOP.

Within the last few years I have competed in several dance competitions through my studio, as well as joined Anna Marie Oliver School of Dance in Guelph, Ontario to expand my dance world and knowledge.   Here is where I met the infamous, Ofilio & Apolonia of Gadfly. I have never been pushed so hard to reach my true potential but I loved every minute of it! I have also had many opportunities to work with other big names such as Twitch, Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo, Mia Michaels, Mary Murphy and Benji Schwimmer of the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance, as well as Kenny Wormald, famous for his role of Ren McCormack in the 2011 remake of 1984’s Footloose.

After many years of dance and exams to obtain a higher level of achievement with the Royal Academy of Dance, I have become a teacher at Grand River Dance Academy (where it all began). It is such a rewarding experience to pass along my talent to those coming up behind me and to watch them blossom and fall in love with dance as much as I have. If I can inspire just one person, I have done my job!

Continuing my love of dance and always looking for another challenge,  I attended the tryouts for the Canadian National Hip Hop Team. For this, I was called upon to learn and demonstrate 3 routines in my audition. The hardwork paid off and I was one of a select few dancers chosen for this amazing opportunity!

The next step is making it all happen. Grueling (but rewarding) pratice for hours at a time, eating well, staying healthy, and remaining strong so that we as a team can bring home the win for our country!

Unfortunately, with dance not being considered a 'sport', there are no assistance programs to help me raise some or all of the funds required for this trip. So its time to work hard and setout to find ways to raise the money.

Step 1 - was to organize drop in/sign up dance classes and those are coming up soon!
Step 2  - is where you come in my dear friends, family, and possibly wonderful strangers who offer donations through my gofundme account!

For the trip and competition itself I require $3,600 plus spending (food), and conversion rates. In the photo attached you will find a complete outline of the competition that should clear up any questions.
