Help us get Ginger to the Grand Canyon And to see Ellen Degeneres! And Las Vegas! Maybe Key West and anything else She wants to do!
Ginger is a three times retired music teacher living in California, Missouri. She is a wife, mother of three, and Nanny(grandma) of two! She taught music for 40 years at California Elementary School, Immaculate Conception School, and Latham School. She was also the accompanist for the California High School choirs , as well as choir director at California United Methodist Church.
In 2008 Ginger Moore was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor, chori plexus papilloma, originally in her brain stem and spread to various areas in her brain and spine. Since then, she has had 4 surgeries, a round of radiation, a shunt, and a broken ankle (not related to the tumors, but definitely a setback). Earlier this year Ginger found out that the tumors on her spine had begun growing rapidly and are inoperable. Due to complications from the tumors Ginger is now eating via a feeding tube in her stomach. It is our goal to take Ginger on all the adventures her heart desires while we still have her with us, but we can't do it alone!! Please help if you can!
