Dear friends and animal lovers,

My very beloved cat, Gingerbread, had been diagnosed with a urinary blockage. This is a serious condition that can be life-threatening if not treated immediately. I went ahead with treatment as my only other option was to let him go. In order to make it happen, I took on a high-interest loan to cover it. I could use your help!

I adopted Gingerbread from the Lincoln County Human Society in 2019. He has been a cherished part of my life since; he even moved across the country with me! His playful spirit and loving nature brings me immense joy; my eternal best friend. Recently, I noticed he was in distress and after a visit to the emergency vet, I learned that he required an urgent procedure to relieve the blockage and prevent his death.

The total cost for his treatment, including hospitalization, surgery, and follow-up care, is $4200. Unfortunately, these unexpected medical expenses have made it challenging for me to cover this amount alone. I took out a high-interest loan from Lend-Care to cover the immediate expenses.
