Hello, my name is Gizzy Rawlins. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the news about my sister and best friend, Ginger Rowland. Yesterday, she experienced a stroke caused by a hemorrhaged brain aneurysm.
In a terrifying moment, Ginger collapsed, but thankfully, her personal trainer and friend was there to assist. However, she suffered a fall, resulting in a bloody nose and a trip to the hospital. Following a CT scan at Northside Gwinnett, it became evident that immediate surgery was necessary. She was swiftly transported via helicopter to Well Star North Fulton, where she underwent a successful operation. Currently, she remains in the ICU and is expected to stay there for the next two weeks.
Despite the challenges ahead, Ginger’s recovery is progressing, though she’s being closely monitored for pockets of fluid on her brain.
In this difficult time, we are humbly asking for support to ease the burden on Ginger’s household, especially considering her role as the primary caregiver for our mother.
While Ginger is fortunate to have a stable job with disability benefits and good insurance coverage, uncertainty remains about the extent of financial assistance available. Our priority is ensuring Ginger can focus solely on her recovery without the added stress of financial concerns.
Your generosity, in any form, would mean the world to us as we navigate this challenging journey. Thank you for considering how you can contribute to Ginger’s well-being.
