The costs are piling up fast for Ginger as she tries to save as much of her house as possible.

The house is open to the elements and molding.

A service to protect the house from further damage is $7500. That is before she can cover food, medicines, personal expenses, etc.

Consequently, we’ve raised the donation goal. Anything will help her. She is exhausted and heartsick, more used to giving to others then needing help herself. Thank you to all who have donated so far.

Hi, My name is Leslie Leland and I am reaching out to help our friend Ginger King, whose home in Punta Gorda, FL was destroyed in Hurricane Ian a few days ago.

Ginger, a long time Key West resident, past Fantasy Fest Queen, and longtime organizer and founder of many charitable organizations to help others in need, now needs OUR assistance.

Ginger moved to Punta Gorda from Key West several years ago. She works full time from home. Her house is now uninhabitable.

Just to get started with picking up the pieces of her life, Ginger needs $2300 in deductible for hurricane insurance and $500 deductible for her car.

Insurance and Fema does NOT take care of everything. It could be 6-12 months to get $$ and begin the needed repairs. Mold is already beginning to grow in her house. She needs funds now.

Our assistance will enable Ginger to take the time she needs to rebuild her life.
