Hi! I’m Gina, She/Her. I’ve been out as a trans woman for 6 years and trying to get bottom surgery for almost as long. Unfortunately, my insurance has repeatedly denied me coverage for my orchiectomy. I've tried appealing, switching insurance providers, and seeing different surgeons to no avail. I’ve now found out my employer purposely excludes transgender healthcare from their insurance policy. So my only remaining option is to pay the full surgery cost out of pocket.

Given the high cost of surgery, hospital fees, and recovery costs, this isn’t something I can afford on my own. So I’m asking my amazing community for support. This surgery will alleviate the majority of my dysphoria and improve my hormone levels. I’ve been dreaming of this for so long and it would mean the world to me if you can help make it a reality!

$6000 is the lowest estimate I've received from my surgeon. Stretch goals will include recovery and transport costs!
