Gina’s Fight Continues!
Donation protected
Hello Everyone, my name is Cris Lewis, this is a really hard story for me to share but my family is currently in need and I am hoping this will be a start.
July 3rd 2018 was one of the most devastating days of my life. My mom, Gina, was diagnosed with Leukemia. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which is typically found in the bloodstream and bone marrow. She underwent 8 cycles of chemotherapy at Straub Hospital in Honolulu and went into remission in October. As hard as she fought, the cancer came back in March. Because the cancer relapsed, she will have to get a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. She will be at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for the next several months to undergo her bone marrow/stem cell transplant.
The purpose of this page is to help my family with the financial costs of this transplant. My mom will continue to pay rent at home in Honolulu, Hawaii while simultaneously paying for an apartment near the hospital. This was recommended to us by the doctor so if any complications arise, she can get the help she needs as fast as possible. At this difficult time, my mom is in need of financial assistance as she faces mounting costs related to the treatments, lost wages, travel, temporary housing, special dietary items, meals, and other living expenses. If you are able to help out, any amount will be greatly appreciated.

Gina is all about family and friends. She has given so much of herself to everyone, and it is our turn to give back to this amazing woman! By coming together and giving Gina all of our love and support, WE will beat this!

Gina is suffering from several severe viruses, which includes a virus in her spinal cord. Unfortunately, this is a serious virus which has caused the mobility of her legs. We have a long battle ahead of us! Please share Gina’s story! Please donate! Thank you
