Gina’s Battle to Recovery

Friends, family and wider community, we reach out today with an urgent call for help.   

Our dear friend,  Gina Moody has been hospitalized since December 1st due to pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure. A life-threatening flaw in a heart we all know to be a source of joy, love, and compassion is failing and Gina is in the fight of her life. 

Gina is currently in critical condition and although she is receiving incredible care, every day she is faced with new challenges and more questions, and it’s obvious that this journey will be a long uphill battle.

In addition to this, Gina’s three kids, Nina (26), Jordan (24), and Nick (20) have all moved down to Florida to help support their mom and new fiancé, Jeff. Gina was recently moved to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood FL.

We’re asking today for your help in supporting Gina, and her family, through this enormously hard moment in time. 

We need help paying for Gina’s care and recovery time in the hospital. 

And finally, we need your help filling in the gaps that the loss of several months income will mean for Gina and her family.  It’s a big ask; but if not her community, and her friends, who else?
