Gina's Surgery Fund

Our dear friend Gina has run into some unfortunate health issues so I've started this campaign to help with her medical expenses. Over the past year she has acquired a number of medical bills to treat an issue with her uterus. It has recently been determined that she has fibroids, which are benign tumors that grow inside the lining of the uterus. Her case is advanced considering the size and number of fibroids and will require surgery this coming December.  As a full time student with minimal health coverage, who will be in recovery for nearly two months, she is unable to cover the costs on her own. The money I'm raising will go to covering part of the surgery and helping her pay off some of her medical bills from the past year. Additionally, it will assist her during the recovery period when she will be unable to work. Gina has worked for years to get where she is and now she needs some support from her loved ones. Working her way through community college and getting accepted into a top university, she has always supported herself and worked twice as hard as most people her age.  Anyone who knows Gina understands what a special, loving, and hardworking individual she is. She has always been generous to the people around her, despite her circumstances.
