Donation protected
Gina and George announced yesterday that Gina was diagnosed with a rare cancer and will be traveling to Baltimore for treatment and surgery. While neither one have asked for more than prayers, let's support them with prayer and more. Gina has been out of work... she is a fellow nurse and we all know how this year has been going for medical staff and now she is facing a battle of her own.
Please give what you can and share this fundraiser on Facebook and with all your friends and family.
Here are Gina and George's words:
Gina: On August 5th I was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Pseudomyxoma Peritonei. Crazy how one day can change your life. Just the week before George and I were talking about our future. This wasn’t in our future plans . George has been my rock! He has not left my side. Peyton, Sam and Abby are my everything and I have been so proud of them. They have taken care of their mama! I am overwhelmed with love and support from so many. I can never repay my work family for all their support and prayers! God is good! George and i last week were able to fly to Baltimore and meet with Dr Sardi who will be doing my HIPEC surgery on October 22nd. I feel very confident with Dr Sardi and his team. I know I have a long journey ahead. I am ready . Requesting my Facebook family and friends to continued prayers.
George: My poor wife is facing some rough waters ahead, and we ask for your prays and thoughts along the way. Unfortunately cancer has entered our lives , and we begin the battle! Gina is a very strong and determined person, and with everyone’s prayers , we hope to be the victor in the fight !!!! Thank You everyone for your continued love and support!!
